Despite higher interest rates and a difficult lending environment, the Campo team was blessed with a robust 2nd quarter as evidenced in the projects below.
The First Quarter of 2023 was a continuation of clients that became friends that are now hospitality real estate development partners. This quarter, as a team, we worked hard and played hard.
While witnessing unparalleled growth for the third consecutive year, Campo Architecture & Interior Design closed out 2022 celebrating the many accomplishments and goals achieved by the firm.
This quarter, the team at Campo has continued to achieve new heights. Campo proudly received numerous awards for Interior Design, Architecture, and Historic Rehabilitation.
In a creative approach to community engagement, students in Monroe, Louisiana, were invited to participate in “Design Camp,” an interactive event at the Northeast Louisiana Children’s Museum.

As the new year begins, we reflect on 2021 and celebrate our accomplishments despite the year's unusual difficulties.
The AC Hotel Kansas City (Mo.) Downtown has opened in the historic, 112-year-old Rialto Building following a $73 million renovation. Previously known as the Ozark National Life Insurance Building and United Missouri Bank, the 13-story hotel was renovated by Beechwood Pinnacle Hotels and now has 239 guestrooms and 11 suites.

Amid the dust caking downtown’s vacant Chemical Building, John Campo Jr. felt inspiration spark.
The unique architectural details of the 127-year-old property at Eighth and Olive streets captured Campo’s attention as a potential redevelopment. Data highlighting St. Louis as a competitive hotel market — coupled with nearby blockbuster real estate developments — made it a done deal, he said.
